PDFForge provides free, browser-based PDF tools including PDF merging, splitting, compression, and format conversion. All processing occurs locally in your browser. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

You agree to use PDFForge only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Process files containing illegal content, malware, or harmful code
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service
  • Circumvent any security features or rate limits
  • Misrepresent your identity or the origin of files you process

4. Intellectual Property

The PDFForge brand, website design, and original source code are owned by PDFForge. You retain all rights to files you process. The PDF processing libraries used (pdf-lib, JSZip, mammoth) are open-source and used under their respective licenses.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

PDFForge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce perfect output for all file types. Always keep backups of important files before processing.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFForge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

7. Privacy

Your use of PDFForge is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

8. Advertisements

PDFForge may display third-party advertisements. We are not responsible for the content of advertisements or the products/services they promote. Clicking on advertisements may take you to third-party websites subject to their own terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the website. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
