Troubleshooting
Some pages are cropped too much or too little: The same percentage margins apply to every page uniformly. If your document mixes page sizes or orientations, a fixed percentage can look different from page to page — check the preview against a few different pages before saving.
"Crop failed": The source PDF may be corrupted or require a password beyond simple permission restrictions. Try Unlock PDF or Repair PDF first.
The cropped area still shows in some other app: Some tools and viewers ignore the PDF's crop box and always show the full original page — this is a viewer behavior, not something the crop settings can control.
