Converts an XLSX, XLS or CSV spreadsheet into a paginated PDF. The PDF shows calculated values rather than formulas, and very wide sheets may still split across several pages. Older .xls files usually convert best after you save them as .xlsx.
Good to know
Set your print area and page breaks in Excel before converting for cleaner page splits in the PDF.
Use landscape orientation for wide spreadsheets so columns aren't cut off across pages.
Freeze header rows in Excel so they repeat naturally at the top of each converted page.
Very wide sheets with many columns may still split across multiple PDF pages regardless of orientation.
Excel formulas convert to their calculated values only — the PDF isn't interactive.
Complex conditional formatting or pivot charts may render slightly differently than in Excel.
Troubleshooting
Only one sheet converted: The tool converts one selected sheet at a time — pick the sheet you want from the dropdown after uploading. To convert multiple sheets, run the conversion again for each one.
Text in a cell is cut off with "…": Cell text longer than about 40 characters is truncated in the PDF layout. Shorten the cell content in the spreadsheet first, or widen the column before exporting if this matters.
Columns are all the same width and content looks squeezed: Column width in the PDF is fixed and even, based on the widest row in the sheet — it doesn't preserve the original Excel column widths.
"Please select an Excel or CSV file": Only .xlsx, .xls, and .csv are accepted. Older or non-standard spreadsheet formats need to be re-saved in one of these formats first.
"Conversion failed": The file may be corrupted or password-protected at the spreadsheet level. Try re-saving it from Excel without a password and re-uploading.
