Troubleshooting
"Please select a .docx Word file": Only the modern .docx format is supported. If your file is an older .doc, open it in Word and save it as .docx first.
"Could not read the document": The file may be corrupted, or not actually a valid .docx (some renamed files aren't real Word files). Re-save it from Word and try again.
Some characters show up as "?": The PDF font used doesn't support every character set — non-Latin scripts or emoji can be replaced with "?". Check the output before sharing if your document uses these.
Images and original formatting are missing: This tool converts the document's text content only — embedded images, tables, and Word's original layout aren't rebuilt in the PDF.
