Troubleshooting
A field I left blank didn't change: Leaving a field empty now leaves that piece of metadata untouched rather than clearing it — edit only the fields you want to change and leave the rest as they are.
I want to remove a value entirely (not just leave it blank): Clearing a field in this editor and saving currently keeps the existing value rather than removing it. If you need a field truly wiped, put a single space in it before saving as a workaround.
Multiple keywords aren't separated correctly: Separate keywords with commas (e.g. "invoice, 2026, finance") — the tool splits on commas and trims extra spaces automatically.
"Failed to update metadata": The source PDF may be corrupted or password-protected. Try Unlock PDF or Repair PDF first.
