Converting to JPEG removes transparency, and converting between lossy formats does not bring back quality that is already lost.

Troubleshooting
Transparent parts turned white/black after converting to JPEG: JPEG doesn't support transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white before conversion. If you need to keep transparency, convert to PNG or WebP instead.
"Something went wrong converting your images": One of the selected files may not be a genuinely valid image (a renamed or corrupted file). Remove it and try converting the rest, or re-save that file from its original source.
The converted images look lower quality than the originals: Raise the quality slider before converting — lower settings produce smaller files at the cost of visible compression artifacts, especially for JPEG/WebP output.
I expected individual files, not a ZIP: Converted images are bundled into a single ZIP for download regardless of how many you convert — extract it to get the individual files.
