The tool converts every page. To keep just a few, download them one by one with the arrow on each preview, or use Extract Pages first.
High (144 DPI) is fine for screens and sharing. Pick Ultra for printing or zooming in. Higher resolution means larger files, and very large pages are scaled down automatically to fit your browser's memory limit.
The PDF is probably password-protected or damaged. Try Unlock PDF or Repair PDF first, then convert again.
