Troubleshooting
I can't click on the existing PDF text to change it: This tool adds new text boxes on top of the page rather than editing the original text in place. To replace wording, add a new text box over the old text (matching the background color) or use Redact PDF to cover it first.
"Add some text first": Click on the page to place a text box and type into it before saving — an empty session has nothing to add.
Text on other pages seems to have disappeared: Text boxes are tracked per page — navigate back to the page you added them on to see and edit them.
"Failed to save PDF": The source PDF may be corrupted or password-protected. Try Unlock PDF or Repair PDF first.
